Sharp SH700i: new camera phone by NTT DoCoMo

Late this week the Japanese cellular operator NTT DoCoMo starts sales of its new phone FOMA SH700i produced by Sharp. The new handset features a 2.2 240x320x262K color screen (made under the brand technology Sharp Mobile ASV) and the second 0.6 72x12 monochrome STN screen.

The SH700i is equipped with two integrated cameras. The first camera with a 1.26-Mpx CCD sensor ensures photo and video shooting, besides there is special Movie Button to quickly access video mode. The second camera with a 110-Kpx CMOS sensor is meant for video calls.

The phone measures 108x48x28 mm, weighs 122 g, and lasts for 130 minutes in the phone mode, 80 minutes in the videophone mode and up to 370 hours standby. There will be 3 versions shipped to the market differing in shell color: White, Silver and Black.
